Clean coils cool efficiently
AC condenser coils work with evaporator coils to cool an indoor space. In apartments, assisted-living facilities, and other such buildings, heating and cooling is often performed by self-contained HVAC units such as Skymark Skypaks and Magic-Paks. These units have flat condenser coils on the outside of the building, which can become quite dirty.
Dirt from outside air is deposited over time onto the coils, where it collects between the tiny fins. Airborne plant debris such as fluffy cottonwood, dandelion seeds and the like cling to the coils, clogging them. All this debris has the effect of decreasing air flow, reducing unit efficiency, increasing energy costs, and can eventually lead to equipment failure.

How we do it
The first step in any commercial HVAC cleaning project is a site visit by our commercial project manager for a consultation and estimate. He'll meet with the building's maintenance or management, view the property, and determine the project scope. His written estimate will include the number of units to be cleaned, the price for each, and the method to be utilized.
The primary method used for cleaning condenser coils is a high-pressured air trigger, whose sustained blast of air the technician will move in a methodical, back-and-forth motion, progressively dislodging the debris from the coils. If the dirt and debris are impacted in the fins, the tech will use pressurized water to loosen and rinse it away. A coil cleaning solution can also be used if necessary.
